PRODUCT BIO: One of the most popular of all citrus fruits, the lemon tree is a durable, long-lived tree. Lemons are broadleaf evergreens with rather sparse foliage. The leaves are oval in shape, dark green on the top surfaces and lighter green on the bottom. The fragrant flowers are white and reddish pink, leading to the familiar fruits, which may be green as well as yellow.
Water: Water them moderately after checking the topsoil. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. The soil on which they are supposed to be planted must be well-drained, and humus-rich. During summer, water thoroughly. while in the winter season or rainy season gradually reduce the water or when the soil starts to become slightly dry at the top. Water in the early morning or late evening when temperatures are cooler. Always check your soil before watering.
Nutrients/Fertilizer: In terms of feeding, use any organic fertilizers. Apply them once a month, especially during the growing season.
Light: They perform well when kept in presence of full sunlight or even in partial shade. To ensure their healthy growth ideally try to manage temperature somewhere around 10 to 35 degree Celsius.
