PRODUCT BIO: Scientifically known as Psidium Guajava, Guava is one of the most consumed edibles in the fruit market. This fruit plant belongs to the family of “Bottlebrush”. They are commercially grown in tropical and subtropical regions of the world. Guava is a rich source of minerals, fiber, and dietary antioxidants. The Guava fruit that this plant, Psidium Guajava bears are often rough from the outer portion, but sweet from the inside. Mostly rounded and color varies from yellow, maroon, or green when completely ripe. These are rich sweet fruits that are consumed as a fresh dessert fruit.
Water: Water them moderately after checking the topsoil. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. The soil on which they are supposed to be planted must be well-drained, and humus-rich. During summer, water thoroughly. while in the winter season or rainy season gradually reduce the water or when the soil starts to become slightly dry at the top. Water in the early morning or late evening when temperatures are cooler. Always check your soil before watering.
Nutrients/Fertilizer: In terms of feeding, use any organic fertilizers. Apply them once a month, especially during the growing season.
Light: They perform well when kept in presence of full sunlight or even in partial shade. To ensure their healthy growth ideally try to manage temperature somewhere around 10 to 35 degree Celsius.
