PRODUCT BIO:  Tamarindus indica or Tamarind Tree شجرة التمر الهندي is medium to large tree reaching 30 m in height and is reputed to remain productive for 150-200 years. The dome-shaped crown is porous and the tree makes a good windbreak. The clusters of pale yellow flowers turn into curved, rust-colored pods. Fruiting usually commences at ~ 10 years although early fruiting can be obtained via grafting. It has not been observed to nodulate but it does have associations with vesicular-arbuscular mycorrhizal (VAM) fungi.

Water: Water them moderately after checking the topsoil. Keep the soil moist, but not wet. The soil on which they are supposed to be planted must be well-drained, and humus-rich. During summer, water thoroughly. while in the winter season or rainy season gradually reduce the water or when the soil starts to become slightly dry at the top. Water in the early morning or late evening when temperatures are cooler. Always check your soil before watering.

Nutrients/Fertilizer: In terms of feeding, use any organic fertilizers. Apply them once a month, especially during the growing season.

Light: They perform well when kept in presence of full sunlight or even in partial shade. To ensure their healthy growth ideally try to manage temperature somewhere around 10 to 35 degree Celsius.
